Sewing a Jumbo Squid

Ok if you did not know one of my favorite hobbies is to sew. One day I ran into a picture of this squid pencil pouch pictured below and I immediately knew i wanted one. So I did my research and found out about this website called choly knight. I did some further research and found out that the amazing talent behind this blog sells patterns of plushies and also generously gives free downloadable printable patterns for free of various plushies, cases and pouches, bags and purses, home and office decor, and wearables. The patterns are amazing, they are easy to follow and the results are incredible specially if you have done plushies in the past or any other pattern. This is my first pattern that i make from Choly but I promise you it is definately not my last.

Pictured all the way on the top I used Choly's free squid pencil pouch pattern to make myself a jumbo pillow. I do feel like I have to say that I need to work on making the shape of the squid head longer and the ears a better shape but I love how the finished product turned out and hope to soon come up with a large or medium size backpack using this pattern. So thank you Choly for sharing this lovely pattern with us and making me very happy with my pencil pouch and jumbo pillow. Until next time.
